Historic revival of iconic Apulian bridal brand

Inside Maison Signore's dressmaking workshop

ROME-- Giovanna Sbiroli, the iconic Apulian bridal brand, has been given a new lease of life thanks to its recent acquisition by Maison Signore (maisonsignore.it). The brand is being re-launched into the world of bridal haute couture, from May 19 until May 22, at ‘Si Sposa Italia Collezioni’, Milan Bridal Week’s most glamorous event.

The director of Maison Signore, Gino Signore outlines their plan for Sbiroli, to “significantly upgrade the brand and increase its presence as one of the oldest Italian bridal brands.”

Maison Signore has already been successful at upping its presence in the international market, holding a trunk show at the revered Kleinfeld in New York, where they displayed a preview of the 2018 collections.

The capsule collection that will be presented at Milan Bridal Week is called “Return to the New”, which showcases the timeless class, elegance and beauty of the past. The collection will include clean lines and delicate layers using classic fabrics like gazar, silk, and organza.

“I could allow a brand so rich in history, success and tradition to die” says director Signore “…in business you need not only acumen but also heart and passion, and I am certain that this investment, made out of love, will be another success for us.”
